If you go, you won't regret it! I am a former Chicagoan and used to go out
to the Botanic Garden for a break from the city. (It is not within
Chicago,it is in a suburb north of the city.) Don't miss the Japanese
gardens, which are very serene and a nice place to get de-stressed.

It looks to me like those letterboxes were merely
temporary, but as with the AZ folks, I think we ought
to contact them and hook us all up in one big
letterboxing family. (Or at least link to each
other's web pages.)
If a trip to Chicago is in the works, lets wait for
the weather to cool down, okay? It's gonna be hot
there. Why do you think all those cars with Illinois
plates show up in Door Co. every summer?
By the way, for anyone who lives in or frequents a
popular vacation destination, we've invented a new
game. Everyone in your car picks a number between 1
and 10, then you count the number of out-of-state
plates on the next 10 cars you see. Whoever's closest
wins.

You might want to make sure the boxes are permanent and not part of a temporary evetn.
Also, I'm getting in touch with AZ poeple to see if we can somehow connect.

I agree that the Chicogo and the Arizona boxes represent another
opportunity for LbNA's. They each seem to be temporary, but in all
liklihood, the organizers may not know of our existance. Perhaps if they
find out about our group, they will leave some on a more permanent
basis. And, naturally, we become a resource for them as well.
Whoever found these contacts - Nice Work.
